Founded by Darsie Vella, a passionate early childhood and elementary educator with years of hands-on experience, Darsie’s Doodlebug Preschool was created with heart, imagination, and a deep love for learning. Our goal is to nurture young minds in a space that feels just like home—where giggles are welcome, messes mean learning, and every child feels safe, seen, and celebrated.
With a focus on creativity, exploration, and comfort, we encourage children to grow at their own pace through carefully planned instructions, using play as the tool for meaningful connections to the who, what, where, when , why, and how of the learning.
We welcome children ages 3-5 years old
- Age Eligibility:
In order to attend the 3-4 year old class, children need to be 3 by September 1st.
In order to attend the 4-5 year old class, children need to be 4 by September 1st. - Schedule: Children attend preschool 3 days a week (Tuesday–Thursday)
The 3-4 class is 2 hours per day while the 4-5 class is 2.5 hours per day. - Curriculum Description: Emphasize a rich, integrated curriculum covering music, rhyming, colors, shapes, matching, counting, letters and phonics, writing, science, art, cooking, and games which connects to the ABC’s & 123’s of the week.

We delight in nurturing curious little minds and turning everyday moments into magical learning adventures for children ages 4–5. Join Darsie and her playful Doodlebugs on a journey through colors, shapes, stories, and songs — all designed to spark joy and build confidence for kindergarten and beyond! Enrollment for the upcoming school year is open now for Fall 2026.
